"Let's see who can catch the most prey!" Moonowl raced over to Featherflight. "I bet I can catch more than you!" He taunted, making it sound like he was just apprenticed, and it felt like he was still and apprentice, carefree and not yet aware of the dangers that could be lurking in every shadow.

Featherflight chuckled. 'I bet I'll catch the most!' He grinned and charged up a tree hurriedly, having heard a bird trilling on a branch. The bird had stopped singing when it heard Featherflight call out to Moonowl, and was looking cautiously around. Featherflight snuck silently up behind it. It saw him at the last moment and tried to fly away, but it was too late. Featherflight dropped to the ground to bury his prey.

Moonowl had been looking in the other direction, and turned around to see the bird Featherflight had caught. He grimaced as he realized that he was losing the bet so far. He stopped dead as he saw to rabbits chatting to each other. He stalked up to them until he was only about a tail length away. He jumped, killing on rabbit, and pinning down the other. He quickly killed it, and turned around to gloat about it to his friend.

Featherflight's eye glinted as Moonowl turned around with his rabbits. In his own mouth he held a shrew, one that he had had to dig a little bit to get. His face had a good bit of earth on it from the digging. He tossed down teh shrew and kicked some earth over it. 'Tied so far eh?' He chuckled. 'Great catch though! He nodded to the rabbits. 'It takes a great hunter to do that.'

"Thanks, but they must have been dumber than a mouse if they thought they would be safe talking to each other in the open. I'm really not that great of a hunter, I'm better at fighting and thinking up battling stratagies." Moonowl laughed.
