Graytail nodded. "You must be Dustfang's apprentice!" She curled her tail. "You must be happy to have such a great warrior for a mentor!" She smiled at Distfamg quickly, then looked back at Luaralpaw. "Maybe I can join your training sesion? Have to stay sharp myself!" She chuckled.

[glow=red,2,300]"Hello, Laurelpaw." Dustfang purred. "Have you by any chance seen Bluepaw lately? Graytail was just wondering where he was." He added before he would forget. [/glow]

Graytail pricked her ears. Knowing Bluepaw like she did, he was probly recking havoc over teh boarder in ShadowCLan! She groaned, remembering when they had nearly gotten caught by a SHadowCLan patrol when BLuepaw decided he wanted to see the other side of the boarder! SInce BLuepaw had not mentor yet, she and Raindance sharde his mentoring together.

"No, I have not seen Blupaw," Laurel replied, fighting to keep her voice civil. "I'm sorry, Graytail." When Graytail had said the comment about Dustfang being a great mentor, she restrained herself... slightly... from snapping at her. So far he's shone me nothing special, nothing! Digging her claws into the ground, she looked hastily around for her sister, hoping that Larch would suddenly appear and make things right. "Do you want me to look for him?" her voice came out more harshly then it meant to, and Laurel flinched - but it was too late to say 'sorry.' She became aware that her jaw was twitching, and that her stance looked much too aggressive for just a regular chat with friends. Forcing herself to relax slightly, she shot a strained smile at Dustfang, hoping he wouldn't notice the hostility hidden right below the "nice" surface. Shooting another glance around the sun-dappled clearing, Laurelpaw narrowed her eyes. She couldn't see Larch... could she be in a training session? Even as this thought crossed her mind, she internally smacked herself. Her sister had said to her earlier that she was going out with her mentor, and though Laurelpaw could not recall the name of her sister's mentor at the moment, she did remember Larch saying that they wouldn't be back until later. "Are you sure you'll be okay? We'll be gone awhile; after sun-high or so." Larchpaw was frowning, a deep furrow cut into her forehead, a look that made her seem too old for her age. "Yes, fine," snapped out Laurelpaw. "I mean, how can I not be? Theres just SO much to do here! Chase butterflies, clean elders, get your paws covered in foul-tasting mouse-bile... isn't it just the life?" Laurelpaw took out her anger by lashing out and ripping a piece of moss. Looking up, she met Larch's gaze with a look that pleaded help. "I'm sorry," she whispered. Her sister opened her mouth to say something, but then her mentor called. Closing it again, she gave Laurel a look of gentleness and understanding. "Call me if you need me," she whispered, then left. Laurel dropped her head onto her paws, staring out of the entrance at the camp beyond. Finally, impatient with waiting for the summons that she presumed would never come, she stalked outside, sitting and staring at the busy warriors. Which led her up to now... Getting rid of the dreamy look was the hard part, Laurelpaw reasoned as she wiped - no, tried to wipe - the memories she had just been reliving off her face. She streched, slender body with its short, bright red fur catching the sun. "Are we going to go train?" she asked, not very enthusiastic about the response she would get. "Or look for Bluepaw?" She hoped against hope, which was probably very foolish of her, that Dustfang would choose training and perhaps - just perhaps! She could find Larchpaw and let her sister comfort her.

Graytaillooked around her. "Well, you can go train with your memntor if he wants. I'm sure that Bluepaw is alright." She tried to hide it, but she knew her impatients to kno where he was shoed. She smailed crokkedly at Laurelpaw.=, seing he own dreamy exprssion. "BUt when you go out and you see him, csn you tell him Graytail wants to see him?" SHe wondered then were Raindacne was. She remembered her just laving the camp a moment ago. She wondered if she should go hunt with her?

[glow=red,2,300]Dustfang flinched. "Come, Laurelpaw, we'll practice some fighting." He said harshly. Maybe it could release her from some anger. "Graytail," His features softened. "If we see Bluepaw, we'll be sure to send him to you." He said. "Don't worry. I'm sure he's fine." He smiled at the she-cat, then turned back to Laurelpaw. [/glow]

WAveing her tail in fairwell, Graytail walked to the fresh kill pile. She was hungary! She picked out a juisy vole and padded over to the warriors den. SHe lay down at the entrance and chewed slowly on her meal, savering every piece. "I'll just wait for them to come back!" she sighed.
