Darkwater looked around himself and waited for the meeting to be over. He wanted to find HEathermist! He oculd not see her amoust teh gathering cats. He worried something had happened. That something important was happening and he wasn't around to ehlp. He got a sick feeling in his tummy. He hoped it was becase of fresh kill gone bad.

[ooc] Spottedstar was going to warn Nightstar that the loners planned on attacking Riverclan first. Do you want to pretend that she told Blackstar instead, or Nightstar told Blacklight?
[bic] Wetwhisker trotted back into the camp with two fish and a vole filling his jaws. Just in time for the meeting, he thought, placing his prey on the fresh-kill pile. Making his way closer to Blackstar, the tabby warrior sat down next to Nimblestep, meowing a friendly greeting. Looking at Darkwater with interest through narrowed eyes, Wetwhisker couldn't help thinking that the warrior was a bit more agitated than normal. "Everything ok?" he murmured quietly, hoping that Darkwater didn't think that he was too nosy.

Nightpaw follwed his mentor into camp, sitting away from Darkwater without saying a word.
Darmwater sighed and looked at Nightpaw. I just have this feeling that something is wrong with Hearthmist HE mumbled.

OOC//: Perhaps Nightstar told Blacklight. Thanks for telling me. oh, and fleabittengray, Since blizzardsnow has decided to dissappear for a while, hopefully not permanently, i can't announce foxpaw's apprenticeship yet. I hope he comes back.
BIC//: Blackstar watched wetwhisker join his clanmates beneath the highrock. He would have to start the meeting soon. He hoped that Rainstorm and goldenriver would come soon.

Wetwhisker looked at Darkwater. "I'm sure she's fine", he meowed assuringly. "She can't be far away." Glancing backwards over his shoulder, he spotted Nightpaw sitting on his own. Sighing to himself, he padded over to his apprentice. "Everything alright?" he asked quietly as he sat down beside the young tom. Personally hew knew that everything was not alright with Nightpaw, but there wasn't any other polite thing that he could say.

Orbs glew with mixed emotions, none clear even to himself. Nighpaw narrowe dhis orbs at Wetwhisker and nodded, but just barly. He waited for the other apprentices to come and make fun of him. HE would show them! All of them! He shook his cranium and unsheathed his claws. Why don't you just go and sit with you friends? The sting in Nightpaw's lyrics were obvious. HE had no friends! No one knew what it was like! Even Darkwater had a mate, and his father was a killer. Bet even Darkwind has followers! His spit and looked up at StarClan. Why? WHY? He thought out to them. He got no answer, but he felt them with him. Sitting around him and breathing.
ooc//yeh i no he left for a bit. LOL and i gess it ok he waits a bit cuz Heathmist is having her kits.

The soft crunch of pawsteps on the ground was heard as a slender, cream-colored shape padded quietly towards the RiverClan camp. Cool, light sunlight shone down onto the figure. A shadow passed over the cat, and she jumped, looked up - a bird. Just a bird. Not a two-leg thing... Sighing, the she-cat dropped her shoulders and her head in relief, staring ahead of her at a large bush. Perhaps it was because of the time of season, but Rivermist doubted it: the sickness in her Clan was a much more pressing matter; it was most likely the reason of her "on-edgedness." Pausing briefly, Rivermist shut her eyes and attempted to gather herself. A unwise descision, in the end, as it gave her more time to ponder and evaluate what was happening and what would happen. When the latter question presented itself in her mind, all the thoughts took a dark turn. What if the other medicine cats had forgotton the cure? It had been ages since infected Rat Bite had been treated in the Clans. Cinderpelt had been the last cat to use it; after that, everyone took great care with what they ate. But... Stop that, she scolded herself, cutting off the thoughts. They've got to know. Its not, like, its something from out of these territories or anything. It's just a medicine. It wasn't exactly a cure, but it was something. Rivermist heaved another sigh, and then started again towards the RiverClan camp, her pace slow. A few moments later, she had reached the camp entrance. She stopped; sniffed the air. There was no sharp tang of sickness yet; all she could hear was the sof burbling of water and the sounds of cats talking. Relieved, Rivermist stepped into the camp, a spring in her step - and stopped. Later, she would vaugely remember thinking: At this rate, I'll never get anywhere! But at the moment, she was too preoccupied with the scene before her. What looked like the whole of RiverClan were gathered, listening to a cat make announcements. Of course - a Clan meeting. The cat addressing them must the Blackstar, the new leader... her thoughts trailed away, and she was brought back on track by a voice near her: two cats talking, exchanging friendly greetings while they waited for Blackstar to start talking. "I'm fine, you?" Rivermist sniffed the air, letting her scent glands identify and place the cat who had said this. The scent was unfamiliar, however, and Rivermist frowned, her light brown fur furrowing slightly. Either this cat had never come to a gathering, or Winter had never mentioned her at the medicine cat meeting. Or maybe she was new. Rivermist honestly didn't care; she was bent on finding Winter, but as she scanned the crowd of cats, she couldn't see the distinctive white pelt of the RiverClan medicine cat. The frown deepened, and Rivermist craned her neck, looking towards where the other cats obscured the closest to Blackstar from view. There was Swiftpool, the new deputy... but... no Winter. She might be out on patrol, but as she thought back, Rivermist realized she hadn't run into any patrols on her way there, which was surprising. Well, there was only one thing to do know. Shaking herself, Rivermist walked up to the two talking cats. Kestrelpaw was one of them, she recognized, but the other stirred no memory, like before. "Excuse me," she meowed politely. "Extremely sorry to break into your conversation, but do you have any idea where Winter is?"
Flydew emerged from the warriors den at the sound of Blackstar's summons, and headed over to where the cats of her Clan were starting to gather. She padded up and stopped, settling herself down near the front of the group, by Swiftpool. Cats were still gathering, and Blackstar would wait a bit before starting his announcements, so she let her gaze wander. She nodded at some of her fellow Clan mates, smiling and exchanging greetings. A sideways glance towards where Song and Kestrelpaw were talking - and she froze. Who was that? No one from this Clan, certainly. Sniffing the air, she attempted to catch the scent of the cat - but the feline was upwind, and she couldn't smell her. Staring distrustingly at the new arrival, Flydew slitted her eyes. Perhaps it was a loner, or some other cat with no ties to the Clans, but the cat did look familiar... As the cat began to move out of the shadows, Flydew recognized her. Rivermist. But what was the ThunderClan medicine cat coming here for? Amber eyes still untrusting, Flydew watched as the she-cat walked up to Song. Straining, she just barely caught the words. "Where Winter is?" Despite her best intentions, Flydew missed the first part of the sentance. The part she caught, however, explained itself. Relaxing, the Turkish Van swept a paw over her ear in relief. She was only here for Winter. Getting up, Flydew walked up towards Blackstar, pausing to stretch in the afternoon sun. "Blackstar," she hissed softly in her leaders ear, "We have a visitor."

Blackstar turned to look at flydew, confusion lacing his stare, when he caught a new scent. He hadn't even noticed the Thunderclan she-cat enter the clearing. What kind of leader does that make me. he thought grimacing. "Rivermist, what brings you to our camp?" he meowed out a greeting to her. He continued to look down at the clan cats gathered below him. He hoped that she hadn't brought more news of rogues.

Darkwater watched as FLydew hissed something to the leadwr, Blackster, and widened his eyes as he heard him talk to the new ocmer, but could not hear what was being said. HE stood to his feet and swivled his audits to try to catcht any replying meows of the intruder.
Nightpaw, his temper about to overflow, looked at the approching THunderCLan medicinecat. HE could tell it was her. He had seen her when she got close to the river, or if he had swam across to look at the otehr side. Rivermist is here. HE growled nonchalabtly at Wetwhisker.

Song was very confused. She didn't recognise the scent as any one that she had seen before, and there was, from the looks on other cats faces, something unuasual about this cat being here. she looked around again. This time wondering why the cat was looking for Winter. that's strange she thought to herself. I wonder who that cat is. She heard the name Rivermist floating around the camp, and wondered if that might be the strange cats name. She sighed, it would all be cleared up soon enough. Looking back up a Blackstar she hoped that all of the other cats would arive soon.

Wetwhisker nodded to Nightpaw. "So I see", he meowed, looking that the medicine cat with interest. What's so urgent that it can;t wait until the Moonstone meeting? he wondered. He felt a little bit intimidated by his apprentice's tone of voice - the apprentices that he'd had before had all been exited and eager to learn, but Nightpaw was just... pressured? Miserable? Unwanted? He's just have to get used to Nightpaw - everything takes time. For now, he didn't really know.

Swiftpool started as Rivermist walked into camp, her ears flattening. She saw the other cat's suprised and fearful reactions and deeply hoped that Rivermist's appearance would not come to a fight. However good the ThunderClan's medical cat's intentions were, she was taking a huge risk coming into another Clan's camp.
Through her feelings of hostility and anger Swiftpool felt a slight surge of fear. What if Rivermist brought news of rouges? She knew they were a threat and decided that the ThunderClan Medicine cat may speak. Giving a nod to Flydew for alerting Blackstar, she lept next to her leader. "Explain yourself!" she yowled. "Do you bring news of rouges? What event is so serious that you cannot wait for the next Fourtrees meeting?"

Darkwater leaped to his paws as he heard the word 'rouges'. His breathing became labored as visoins of HEarthmist all alone filled his inner eye.
Nightpaw sighed. More rouges! Wonder what all the bad thoughts towards rouges are. To me, they got the good life. Don't gotta be worried bout being accepted by others! He looked at Wetwhisker.

Rivermist dipped her head in response to the RiverClan leaders greeting. "Hello, Blackstar." She was unable to get any farther, though, before the deputy - Swiftpool, wasn't it? - sprang to her feet. "Explain yourself!" "I was about to-" began Rivermist, but she was cut off once again as Swiftpool continued to speak, rolling right over her. "Do you bring news of rouges? What event is so serious that you cannot wait for the next Fourtrees meeting?" Rivermist stood, stalking up to the deputy. She had been ticked off enough today. The feelings mostly came from anxiety and fear - the worry that she wouldn't be able to get back in time to her Clan, that they would all be horribly sick, that someone would fail in his or her duty for keeping the Clan safe... Glaring at Swiftpool, she stared at the she-cat while speaking to the whole Clan. "My business is my own. I wish to speak to Blackstar and Winter, in private." Lashing her tail, she drew away from the deputy, turning instead to look at Blackstar. "Will you grant me audience? Or would you like me to come back? I see I have come at a rather busy moment." Her tail tip still twitched irritably, and the medicine cat blocked out the sounds of cats whispering behind her as she waited for the leader to answer her question.
Flydew unsheathed her claws as the medicine cat took offense at Swiftpool's words. Though she doubted the need for it, there was always the possibility that ThunderClan was up to something... and that Rivermist was here for a distraction. Certainly the she-cat seemed agitated enough. After Rivermist finished speaking, Flydew got up and slipped out of the camp. She scented the air, drawing it in through her scent glands. There were no other scents, only that of the air, water, and bushes around them. The medicine cat had come alone. Slipping back it, she made her way up to the front of the crowd again, accidently bumping into Nightpaw. "Sorry," she apologized to the apprentice before continuing. "There are no other cats, Blackstar," she reported. "She is alone." Silence for a few moments, then Flydew spoke again. "I say we let her stay. If ThunderClan was to try something, they would not send their medicine cat alone. And she seems to be in a hurry."

Swiftpool nodded her head, aware of Rivermist's impatience. She knew she had offended the cat but was still offended of Rivermist's sudden intrusion into their camp especially during an important Clan meeting. Although Swiftpool did trust RiverClan cats well enough to know that they would have not intruded unless it was a dire occasion, she was still annoyed about Rivermist's untimly intrustion and now felt defensive of Rivermist's angry response.
Swiftpool nodded and gave a meaningful glance to Blackstar, telling him to alert her if Rivermist had any bad news. "Shall we prospone this meeting, or can Rivermist wait until you have announced the new mentorees and apprentices?" she meowed, looking around at her fellow Clan cats. "I am sure many have waited long for this moment. Or, Blackstar can continue with the ceromony while Rivermist talks with Winter and I." She paused, waiting for the leader's response.
