Okay, well, I wrote the following emo poem. No, I've never been in love [I'm a freshman for crying out loud!] but I found the inspiration for this poem from a picture I saw. So.... it might sound a little corny to you, and heh, it's not like I've ever lived something through this. But I'm happy with the poem I've created, and I think it sounds like I've actually gone through heart ache.
Well, enough chattering.
YOU STEAL MY POEM, I EAT YOU. I've had this poem submitted to Poetry.com, an international poetry organization. They copyrighted it for me, officially. So seriously, I'm not just saying the poem is copyrighted... I have legal documentation, to sue your patoody off, it taken. Tell me why I lost you.
Tell me why you lied.
Tell me that you loved me.
Or at least that you tried.
I'll tell you how broken I am for you.
I'll tell you about those foul, chilling nights.
I'll tell you of the cold, hard truth.
And how life is no longer bright.
Sing to me a song of hope.
Sing to me ever so soft.
Sing to me and help me cope.
So I can forget the love we lost.
I'll sing to you a song of faith.
I'll sing to you a song of the broken.
I'll sing about reaching fate.
As these words break the unspoken.
Dance with me, just one more dance.
Dance with me until the sun rise.
Dance with me, giving me one more chance.
So that our love might reprise.
I'll dance with you as the moon shines down.
I'll dance with you forever.
I'll dance with you until the music sounds.
Even if the melody doesn't come; ever.
