Wetwhisker's eyes flickered open, before he stubbornly shut them again. He rolled over, facing the den entrance, only to see a ray of sunshine through his closed eye-lids. Grumbling to himself, he rose to his paws and give himself a shake. The loose bits of moss tumbled out of his pelt. The brown warrior gave himself a grooming, making him feel better. He was always grumpy when half asleep, but now he was wide awake.
The tom stretched before padding toward the entrance of the warrior's den. "Anyone up for hunting?" he asked, his amber eyes sweeping over his clan-mates.

Autumnbreeze had been grooming herself before she heard Wetwhisker's quiery. 'I can go!' she called back out to him. She gave her chest fur one last lick before slipping to the den's opening. Her slim tortoiseshell body stretched once more before sitting down on the threshold of the den. She hadn't been a clan cat for very long and was eager to prove her loyalty and helpfulness. She looked at Wetwhisker with a smile and then turned to see who else might come. She twitched her tail, almost impatient to be off hunting. Hunting was one of the few things that she felt she was really good at, that and starting arguements, but that she was trying to cure. She shook her pelt and looked into the woods, tasting the air and wondering how the hunting would be that day. It seemed like a nice day, the sun was out at least, and hopefully the prey would notice and come out to enjoy the day.

Wetwhisker nodded to the she-cat. "Looks like a nice day", he commented, glancing at the opening of the den. "Anyone else?" he asked, not wanting anyone to feel left out. The more the merrier, he thought to himself. The tom's tail twitched slightly as he waited. He could feel Autumnbreeze's impatience and it was starting to have an impact on him as well.
