Fallenleaf stared up into the sky, mist circling around her, her amber eyes shining bright in the moonlight. She was sitting down in the middle of a puddle, thinking about her friend Snow, "Snow, im sorry...I truly am," Fallenleaf murmered, still staring up into the sky. She sat there for a moment longer in silence. "I know im foolish for leaving you behind, and I didn't want to and didn't mean to, but..." she was interrupted by the sound of another cat's paw steps. Fallenleaf jumped up, fur bristling.

"Fallenleaf?" The voice of a Riverclan tom sailed through the air. A heartbeat later, the shrubbery rustled and Wetwhisker emerged from the undergrowth. The darker tabby markings on his pelt were barley visible in the darkness. "It's only me", he meowed, his soft amber eyes backing up his words. "You okay? You look like something's bugging you."

Fallenleaf's fur lay flat once she saw it was just Wetwhisker. "Oh, hi Wetwhisker. No, im fine." She said, though her eyes showed nothing but sorrow and guilt. Fallenleaf smiled weakly, then she looked back up at the star dappled sky. "Im just...watching Starclan,"

Wetwhisker nodded slowly, although he could tell that the she-cat was lieing. If she didn't want to talk to him about it, that was her choice. "Silverpelt is bright tonight", the tom noted, staring up at the night sky. His voice lowered to murmur as he talked to himself. "I wonder what it's like to be up there, watching everything. Being part of them"

Fallenleaf smiled weakly. "Hm," she murmered. Could Snow be up there with Starclan? She thought to herself, No, she didn't even know about Starclan while she was alive... Fallenleaf's smile dissapeared and was replaced by a small tear. She turned toward the forest, trying as much as possile to make it look like she wasn't crying.

Wetwhisker sighed to himself. He felt so helpless. Here was his clan mate, lost in sad memories, and there was nothing he could do to comfort her. "I might as well go then", he meowed, attempting to sound cheerful. At that moment, a mouse scurried straight past Wetwhisker's paw. The tom pinned it down beneath his talons and quickly finished it off. He turned back to where Fallenleaf was siting. "Do you want it?" Wetwhisker asked.
