Crystalpaw walked into the den that was so familiar to her. She didn't see her mentor, Rivermist, in the enterance. She walked farther into the den and saw her mentor sorting herbs. She looked back at Bluepaw. She hoped that he would be okay! "Rivermist?"she mewed quietly."Bluepaw is sick! Will you help me treat him? I could never treat him as well as you could!"

Bluepaw sneezed then coughed. He may not be a medicine cat, but he knew he was getting worse! He felt warm and dizzy. He walked past Crystalpaw and laid down, waiting for the medicine cats to treat him or whatever it is medicine cats do.

Crystalpaw looked at Bluepaw. She felt so sorry for him! She had only been training for a moon. She couldn't do this without her mentor! "It's okay."she cooed. "You'll be better soon." She hoped she was telling the truth! She looked at Rivermist. "What do you think is wrong with him?"she mewed.

Rivermist came out of her den just as Bluepaw staggered inside. "Bluepaw! What happened to him?" she shot at Crystalpaw. Without waiting for an answer, she hurried over to where the apprenticed had collapsed. "Can you get up? We should move you farther into the den." she helped him to his feet, than half carried, half guided him to a small, pre-made bed near the back of the den. Letting him lie down again, she turned towrads Crystalpaw. "Well?" she asked.

"I... I was gathering herbs when Bluepaw came up to me."she mewed."He seemed fine, but then he started sneezing. He said he had been sneezing a lot lately. He was unusually warm, and he was weezing!"her eyed widened. She was so worried about the apprentice. "I didn't want to treat him alone since I've only been training for a month. What do you think is wrong with him?"

Bluepaw looked around him. "I can stand up!" he shakely got to his paws, only to stumble and fall down again. "Or nit," he sighed.

"Lay still."Crystalpaw meowed."Just relax." She really wanted Bluepaw to get better. She hadn't treated many cats in her moon of training. "Rivermist, what should I do?"she mewed."What herbs should I give him. Can I get anything?"
