From generations long forgotten,
On ships made of trees, they come.
They came, moons upon moons ago, to the undiscovered, uncivilized island that had no name. Riding on ships made by twolegs, surviving from the beady-eyed rats and occasional twoleg scraps, the first cats arrived on the island as kittypets, loners, and rogues. The twolegs did not survive; sickness swept over them, and those that did not die left on the ships, leaving the cats there...the cats of Ferus Island.Thundersticks booming,
Fires destroying,
And great beasts that stalk the through the land.
Now they return, with things no cat has seen in generations...things all the warriors have forgotten. Shiny, metal sticks from which thunder roars, releasing a small stone that could kill a cat with one hit. Fires, though not unfamiliar, that are controlled and which burn down forests to make way for houses....Giant dogs, bigger than any coyotes or halfbreeds they have seen before, set on the cats that get in the way...ruthless and bloodthirsty and hungry for warrior blood....
Away on their ships, though,
Help arrives too;
Without them the war won't be won.
The seacats are coming,
To help with the fighting...
Or to help make the Clans come undone.

The seacats, like the first generations...tough and strong and dangerous. They are loners and kittypets...and soon they may, too, be Clancats. They know of the dogs...maybe too much. They can dodge the bullets of the thundersticks. But can they be trusted? Some may become one with the Clans...find new lives in defending the cats that live in the lush, bountiful island that is Ferus Island. But others will stalk in deception, will lead danger to the Clans to save their own tails...will leap upon the warriors under the cover of darkness, stab them in the back...rally once-loyal Clancats arond them as well. Who can be trusted? Maybe no one can.[/i][/size]
