Goldenriver waited by the apprentice's den. He licked his paw and idly washed his face. He licked his lips impatiently. "Songpaw!" he snapped. "Hurry up! It's time for your first training session." Goldenriver didn't much like apprentices. He thought they were annoying. But now he had one of his own, and he had to deal with it! Despite his annoyance, he kept his face expressionless. He poked his head into the den. "SONGPAW!"
