Tundertail, the thirteen moon old apprentice of WIndClan, sat in the entrance of the warriors den. A light dusting of snow covered the camp floor, which was always exposed to the sky because the WindCLan cats couldn't stand being boxed in. The tom-cat looked toward the apprentice dne, and sighed. He had had no friends as an apprenticem adn it was no diffeent as a warrior. He watched as Quickclaw slunk out of the den and flattned his ears and the tom-cat towered above him. The two were the same age, but Thundertail was loads smaller then teh other tom.
Orange-red pelt, dulled by the long hair of Leaf-bare, hung lousely onto him. He wished New-leaf would hurry up and come! He wanted to go swimming, like he had as an apprentice those few moons ago. He remember having fun, but he still didn;t have a friend.
Black stripes like a tiger combed over the tom-cat's pelt, making him look like a small tiger statue as he sat there in silence. It was early in the morning and, by the way the sky looked, the Clans would be having either slush or snow later today. Yellow eyes ablaze like the Green-leaf sun, THundertail thought about how it felt to be a warrior.

Great blue eyes shone in the low light of early morning. The sunlight reflected off the small layer of snow which covered the ground of the Windclan warriors den. A 15 moon shynx shecat streatched as she awoke in the warriors den. She swore as she suddenly felt how cold it was. Other cats had fur to keep them warm but Magpiehearts hairless body had no protection against the elements. She shook her hairless body in a fewtile effort to warm up. Then she stood up on long, swift, wirey legs and walked out of the warriors den. When she saw Thundertail she looked right past him but then she realized how alone the tom looked. He was only 2 moons younger than her. Maybe she should try to talk to him. I know, I'll bring him some fresh kill. She thought happily and trotted over to get some. She picked up a small brown rabbit for herself and a larger, fatter, grey rabbit for Thundertail. She skipped over to the lonesom, ginger tom, the rabbits falling from her mouth as she went. When she came up to him she raised her shynx head and smiled, dropping the grey rabbit at his paws. " Would you like to eat with me?" She purred.

As the warrior cat sat there, looking out at sky, he began to doze off, dreaming of charging through the forest and battleing the other Clans and loners to bring peace to the forest. Funny how the one thing most were against seemed to be the thing that brought them together.
Not knowing if his thinking really turned into dreams, Thundertail was awakened by Magpieheart's request.
"Would you like to eat with me?" she purred.
The tom-cat looked at the she-cat's hairless body, and nodded. "Yeah, I would like that. Haven't had anything to eat today." he said, his voice kind and playful. He hadn't really spoken with the two moon older she-cat warrior much, just a few hellos and a couple of patrols here and there. But maybe she was wanting ot become friends? Thundertail bent his head towards the grey rabbit, silently thanking StarClan for this meal. Yellow eyes, blazeing like the sun, glanced up at the she-cat every now and again, and he cleared his throat, thinking he should say something.
"Been out of camp much?" he asked, swallowing a mouthful of stringy rabbit meat. His may be bigger then Magpieheart's, but almost all of the food of Leaf-Bare was tough and stringy.

Magpieheart smiled as he took the freshkill. She sat next to him and tucked in to her stringy brown rabbit after thanking starclan for it. Although there wasn't much meat on the karcass and the meat that was there was not great she couldn't help but enjoy it. She finished the rabbit in a few bites and began to wash her hairless body.
"Not really, haven't been doing much recently. I can't wait until I get an apprentice then I'll be doing more to help out. I've just been hunting for moons." She gave him a playfull smile her ears were pricked as she listened to the early morning sounds. Birds that didn't migrate during leaf-bare could be heard squaking in the bare skys above. A loud barking squeal coming from a fox, far off and a russtle in some grass close by. Magpieheart swerved her head toward the sound. She slowy got up and moved closer on sturdy paws. Her claws slid out and padded the ground. She took in the scent. Mouse! How? She thought the most of them would be hibernating in the forest. Well... it must have gotten lost in the snow... it happens. She moved closer until she could not get any closer. Pinpointing its exact positsion she sprang. She killed the creature with the blow from her paw. She strutted over to the fresh kill pile and set it there triumphantly, her blue eyes glowing then walked (though it looked like a elegant dance) back over to Thundertail. " Cummon, lets go hunting, it'll warm us up."

Yellow eyes watched Magpieheart eat, and finished his rabbit just as she did. He dug a hole for the bones, placing them gently in before placeing in her's too. He listened to her talk, procking his small pointed ears so as to catch every syalaball of every uttered word. He smiled playfully at her as she smiled at him, turning one ear to the open moor to listen to the distance cawing of birds. He took a deep breath, listening to everything carefully. Then, he turned his head. Mouse? Magpieheart must have scented it too, becuase the next thing you know, she is stalking towards it, leaping, killing it. "Nice catch!" he called out ot here, and suddenly he wanted to hunt. He watched her walk, alomost dance, towards him again, and felt a smile tug at his lips.
"Yeah, hunting. Let's go." he said, his voice slow, pernouncing every word carefully. Large gray forepaws reched out in a walk, followed in a perfect line by his dusty brown hindpaws. Yes, indeed. Two diffren colors on his paws. He had different colors all through his body! Black and gray tail weaved in the air, doing a dance of its own, and he waited for Magpieheart.

Magpieheart skipped after him. Her long slender tail in the air. The bitter cold around her made her breath freeze. She began to run on long sturdy legs. "Lets go to the moorlands. " She called over her shoulder as her fast legs carried her onwards in bounds. "I'm up for chasing some rabbits!!" She purred. The cold winds blew strongly in her face and rattled her bones.
OCC-I shall add more later.
