Name: Windstar
Breed: Norwegian Forest Cat
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Deputy
Gender: She-cat
Age: 26 moons
Physical Description: Windstar is a long-haired black Norwegian Forest Cat. She has a slight 'rusting' on her chest, the cause of sun. Her underbelly is gray with white speckled through it, though you can hardly see the white. Her ears are set upright on her head, with slight pointing at the ends. A small rip in her right ear is the memento of a fight with another cat. Her tail is long and bushy, with the tendency to get caught in bushes. Below her ears, small bald patches covered with a light covering of hair are noticeable. She was born with these patches, and the skin beneath is slightly mottled. Her left front paw is slightly crooked, but it doesn't seem to bother her or interfere with her running. And run she certainly does. Long, lithe, and muscular, Windstar was made for running. Her legs are around the same size, and are long and lanky. If you want the exact details, her hind legs are slightly longer than her front, enabling her to push off from the ground. Her eyes are an emerald green. They aren't circles, though, they're almond shaped. Her face is slightly pointed, with high cheekbones and a narrow muzzle. Her muzzle isn't that narrow, though, more rounded and narrow. A bit of both, basically.
Personality: Windstar is an interesting character. She has many mood swings, and each is as unpredictable as the one before. The mood that she normally has is gentle, with a loving temperament. You do not want to catch her when she is mad or annoyed, as there is the likely suspicion she will claw your ears off. She tries to keep this temper under control when being a warrior, but sometimes it's hard. Occasionally she is struck with the wish to wander, and wander she does. She goes into the WindClan territory and just wanders wherever she wants to go. The Clan accepts this, and she always makes sure someone saw her go. Windstar loves kits, with no exceptions. Even if the kit wasn't Clan born or a half-Clan kit, she would never harm a kit. She loves to run and hunt most of all, and absolutely detests swimming. She sometimes wants to be a loner, with her own law and no restrictions, but has never left the Clan - she just can't. She is loyal to the Warrior Code, and would never disobey it unless she absolutely had to. She is graceful when running and hunting. She really wants kits of her own and a mate.
History:
Windstar was born to Morningdew and Blazefoot of WindClan. Her first name is unusual for a WindClan cat - Wind - but her parents wished it to be so, after the first leader (and founder) of WindClan. She was born in a litter of three, of which only two, her and her brother, Flamestreak, survived. That winter was very harsh, and was what took the other kit, which was named Whisperkit. Windstar was an inquisitive little kit, always getting in trouble and wandering away from the camp. Often she would disappear, only to be found wandering right outside to camp. As you would expect, she gave her mother a lot of trouble. She almost ate a night berry by accident, and had not the medicine cat been at hand she would have probably died. Unfortunately, this did not satisfy her curiosity for everything.
She was apprenticed at the usual time, 6 moons, to Deadeye, a ferocious warrior and a brave cat. She was delighted with the choice that was made for her, and wanted to know everything there was to learn. But Deadeye was patient, and she learned quickly, resulting in a short apprenticehood. Even then, you could tell that she was a great hunter. She would, in her spare time, race around the territory with Deadeye. In time, she became very close to him, and him to her. She began to regard him in the manner of a brother, father, and mate. But they were patrolling the ShadowClan border when they were attacked by a band of rogues. Deadeye yowled at her to go back, but instead of obeying him, she joined the fight. In the end, reinforcements came and drove the rogues away, but Deadeye was wounded. Not fatally, but he had to retire to the Medicine Cats den and is still there. This battle was where she got her ear torn.
Because of the bravery she showed at the battle with the rogues, she was made warrior earlier then her brother. Adept at hunting, fighting, and with a ferocious loyalty that stunned everyone, she rose in the respect of the Clan. It was a shock to her and everyone else, because the respect of all the Clan is hard to earn, but everyone agreed that she had earned it. She still visits Deadeye regularly, and always tells him the days news. She was in several more battles after she was made a warrior, but none of them were too serious.
When Windstar was made deputy at 20 moons, it suprised everyone, because normaly warriors get made deputy's later in life, but no one objected. So far nothing too serious has hasppened, but Windstar feels the winds of change on the air, and is prepared to fight to the death for her Clan.
Though she gets the urges to leave the Clan occasionally, her devotion and loyalty to her parents, Spottedstar, her Clan, and Deadeye have always prevented her from actually going.
