Teardrop layed on the cold hard ground. Moisture soaked up into her creamy white fur. She shivered, and not from the cold. Why must she live on? After all the attempts at her own life, she still must remain. Today was not a good day for her. She felt as if she was trapped in a pit of despair. She sighed, all alone. She looked at the creek, envisioning herself drowning, her life ending. Then she saw herself with her mother once again. Her best friend. Everyone she cared about in star clan. She knew star clan would be so much better than here. She shivered again. Why her........

Twlve moon old Nightmare walked slowly towards the Shady Creek. As always, she was alone. Her heart was pounding with the ussual fear of witnessing a murder, of being stuck in an unwanted nightmare. Why was I cursed with sucha gift? Why have StarClan forsaken me? These Clans all love them dearly, yet they strike me down even as I was born. She thought, uttering no sounds as her mind raced. They also cursed my eyes, making one blue and one almost white. They keep me from seeing clearly. She wanted so badly to scream and yell her secrect to the world, but she couldn't. She had promised. Not even her leader, Dankstar, knew of her past.
Agile tan and black body moved towards the rushing Creek, heart pounding faster and faster and the sad scent coming off in waves from some being before her. Please not a nightmare, please not a nightmare! She begged, only half believing that she was in the real world at the present time. Then, her eyes caught the form of a she-cat wistfully staering at the water as if she wanted to be in it. Nightmare halted, black banner flying out behind her, and took a couple of wary steps toward her, expecting at any moment for another cat or monster to come and pounce on her fellow warrior. "Hello... her voice was hardly more then the whisper of the wind, the rustle of autum leave, a pawstep on snow. But she had spoken.
