Sorrow grinned. 'I can't think of anything either. What sort of guest am I?' She chuckled to herself quietly. 'Well... what's your favorite food? Mine's a chaffinch.' Sorrow knew that this was a strange question, but it might bring up some sort of conversation. She shook her spotted pelt slightly as a fly landed on her, then she flicked her ears as it buzzed around her head. Finally, getting tired of it's annoyances she swatted at it, killing it instantly. She licked her paw before setting it back down on the ground and curling her tail over it.

Snowfall smiled in amusement. "I don't know, really", she laughed. "Chaffinches are usually too feathery for me. I prefer mice." Now what am I doing? I'm talking about food. The she-cat scuffed her paws on the soily ground. "What your favourite season then?" she asked, barley managing not to burst into giggles.

Sorrow grinned. 'Spring. Because there are so many different babies and flowers around. The only bad thing is all the rain, which I guess it wouldn't be spring without.' She flicked her tail. 'What is your favorite season?' she asked curiously. She liked to know what others liked, especially when she had a new friend, it helped her to know more of the cat's character. She watched Snowfall quietly to an answer as her paw played in the earth beneath her, scuffing up a little dust.

"Green leaf has the plumpest mice", meowed Snowfall, her tongue swiping over her lips. "Means I don't have to catch so much. And I get out of the clan's territory faster." She broke off, half wished she hadn't said so much. She didn't want to go down the path topic again, but0then again there was one question that the she-cat was curious about. "Do you have a favourite clan?" the white loner asked Sorrow, tipping her head to one side as she waited for the response.

Sorrow put her head to ther side at the question. 'Well, I used to be in ThunderClan...' she trailed off as her her memories that she had thought her faded and gone came back again, too real and fresh than she liked. She gulped once or twice before looking back up at Snowfall. 'I would have to stand next to ThunderClan as my favorite I guess. How about you?' Her eyes, which had clouded at the rememberance of ThunderClan, cleared again as she gained control over her emotions and looked at Snowfall for her answer.

Snowfall opened her mouth to say that she didn't really have one, but decided at the last moment that it would be impolite. "Windclan", she meowed, thinking of the moor that dominated the horizon around her home. "I can't help but admire their speed. Mind you, I don't know much about Shadowclan and Thunderclan. I rarely travel that far and see them properly."

Sorrow nodded. 'They are fast. I once saw them chasing a rabbit and it was impressive. I'd say if I hadn't been part of ThunderClan, they would be my favorite clan.' she looked at the ground and said in almost a whisper. 'Sometimes I miss my times there.' She shook herself with a jolt. 'I'm sorry, here you are trying to provide good conversation and I go and try to ruin it.' she smiled ackwardly as she pushed away her memories. 'Have you seen them chase the rabbits many times?' she asked curiously.

"That's alright", meowed Snowfall with a soft voice. Putting on a brisk tone, she answered, "Very often. I can see a lot of their territory from here. They're hunting rabbits day and night." She smiled to herself, letting out a sigh. It sounded like a good life, with nothing to do but catch prey for your clan.
"Have you ever been to Highstones?" The she-cat meowed curiously. She'd heard the stories about leaders getting nine lives there, and she was interested in knowing what the caves looked like.

Sorrow's eyes brightened as she nodded. 'When I was an apprentice I went to the Moonstone with my leader when she had to talk to StarClan. I saw Highstones too though.' She closed her eyes, remembering the glowing rock underground. That was one of her most treasured memories. 'Have you?' she asked as she opened her eyes. With this conversation came curiosity, she wondered if the same leader was leading ThunderClan, she wondered if the the same medicine cat was still there with her herbs, or if it was the apprentice that was now in charge.

"I did once", meowed Snowfall. "I was hoping to catch prey somewhere where I wouldn't get chased off. Ended up with no dinner and raw paws", she snorted in laughter at the memory. "When the sun was setting I found the entrance. I didn't go in. I half wished I had though. It would have been spectacular."
The she-cat looked down at her paws again, recalling the pain that the hard stone had given them. She shivered. "You were only there briefly, right?" She wanted to be sure. No reason really. Just curiosity.

Sorrow nodded. 'I wasn't there for very long, no. I would have loved to stay though, the rock was so pretty.' She smiled at the thought, she had many times allowed her memories to stray back to that moment, sometimes it seemed so real that she could touch it, but then, just as she was about to something would happen. It could be just as unusual as the calling of a bird but something would always wake her from her daydream. Sometimes it annoyed her.
'Have you ever had kits?' she asked curiously. She herself had never had kits but she was curious to know if her friend had.

"Who is there to have kits with me?" Snowfall laughed as she answered Sorrow's question. "No. I've always lived on my own. Closest I've been to a tom is watching it hunt on the moor." The she-cat unsheathed one claw and began to make patterns in the dirt. She smiled at the pointless squiggles she'd made without a reason. "Do you have any hobbies?" she asked Sorrow. "Like drawing in the soil?" she added humorously.

Sorrow smiled at Snowfall's drawings in the soil. 'Sometimes I do carvings in the tree that I live in, but besides that...' she thought for a minute. 'Does collecting moss count?' she laughed. 'Nope, I hunt, sometimes I get moss for my bed, sometimes I carve in the tree. When I'm bored I run around in the trees like a crazy squirrel.' she chuckled again. 'That's about it for me. Do you have any hobbies?' Sorrow's misty eyes watched Snowfall intently. She had never really thought about having a real hobby. That might be fun, I should have a real hobby and then I wouldn't be bored and have my memories taking me away. he smiled and nodded to herself.

Snowfall let out a laugh. "Running around like a crazy squirrel", she repeated, a broad smile on her face. "When I'm bored I watch the Windclan cats. They become familiar after a while. I've learned to recognize a couple, although I don't know their names. I met a nice one once. Didn't even chase me off, although she refused to have me hunt there. But that was season ago..." Her voice trailed off. [An invention to keep this thread going ]

Sorrow grinned. 'Greedy greedy!' She laughed a little. 'I guess I don't blame them, I'd be mad if I caught a cat I didn't know hunting in my territory. But I haven't yet since most cats aren't tree cats.' She chuckled a little more. 'I've thought of going onto the clan territory before but for one reason or another I never have. Last season I almost did because of the bad hunting but I didn't.' She shrugged and then gave Snowfall a quizzical look. 'A nice clan cat? You mean she didn't chase you off?' That sounded strange to her but then again, clans were kinda weird.
