"Well, she told me to get off, but she trusted me enough to let me go on my own accord", admitted Snowfall. "I was expecting my fur off for sure." The she-cat smiled at the memory. "She was a smokey coloured-cat", the loner continued. "Deputy, apparently. I heard another cat ask her for instructions. Smokeheart was her name. Suited her well." Snowfall sighed. "I wonder where she is now."

Sorrow put her head to the side curiously. 'Well, I went to a gathering once and I think I remember seeing the deputy then.' she twitched her tail, trying to bring back her memory this time, not trying to push it away as she usually tried to do. She sat, staring at the ground, lost in memories that she was sorting through. It was much like looking through a big pile of papers that had gotten scattered and knocked out of order. Some memories were not helpful, like the time she fell through the ice in the stream, and some were helpful, like seeing the deputy and then at the next gathering... didn't see him? She put her head to the side as she tried to remember if something had happened to him.

"Hmmm...", said Snowfall, her thoughts coming out as a useless mumble. She'd seen that deputy on the moor from a distance, but for months on end there'd been no trace of her. She couldn't remembering that the warrior had been young and strong. Where is she now? The question tumbled around her head, refusing to go away.
[ooc; sorry I took so long to reply. I couldn't think of anything to say before XP]
